Adidas and Parley celebrate World Oceans Day by releasing iconic trainer
It’s been a long time in the planning, but global sportswear giant Adidas have just announced 7,000 pairs of trainers made 95% from plastic materials found floating in the ocean for sale. With an ambitious target of 1 million pairs to be produced and sold in 2017, it’s an incredible win for the our oceans. Optimistically, it’s almost hoped that many more companies with soon jump onboard with the initiative.
